In 1971, brothers William and Robert Brayton formed a residential construction company in the Albany area of upstate New York. As the company grew so did the scope of its projects, from renovation work to full design and construction. In 1985, the company was incorporated and Brayton Construction, Inc. began to undertake local commercial projects such as office fit ups specialty boutiques, restaurants and medical facilities. Over the next few years, the company ventured into large scale commercial jobs and continues to expand in both scope and reach by taking on larger projects throughout the Northeast. In 2009, Robert’s son, Christopher, joined the company, with Bill's, son Skyler coming on board in 2014, managing Contract Compliance for the firm.

Owners William and Robert bring over 35 years of experience and knowledge to every phase, from initial bid to completion. Their expertise is enhanced by the completion of several degrees, certifications and licenses in the construction field. Working with its community is important to Brayton Construction, Inc. It is proud of its support of the local Youth Baseball Program, Boys and Girls Club, Volunteer Ambulance Squad, Police and Fire Departments.
